LOCAL WORKS IS 10 YEARS OLD!!

Local Works is celebrating it’s 10th birthday and would like to thank everyone who has been involved. From staff, students, funders, friends and family, you have all made a positive contribution, thank you!

Local Works is a not for profit social enterprise based within the East of the City of Hull, located within a leisure facility ‘Soccer Sensations’ Poorhouse Lane, Hull. Local Works was formed in May 2011, its aim is to provide alternative education to young people and also employability skills to those people who are unemployed aged 16 plus, through a mixture of tailored intervention which will also increase health and fitness levels

Local Works has a vision to not only impact on employment levels in the local area but also to create healthy neighbourhoods.
